The Procedure

Kybella® is injected directly into the submental fat under the chin using a fine needle. The deoxycholic acid in Kybella® breaks down the fat cells, which are then naturally eliminated by the body over time. As the fat cells are destroyed and removed, the chin area becomes more contoured and defined. Once fat cells are eliminated, they do not return, offering long-lasting results with minimal downtime.

What to Expect
Each Kybella® treatment typically takes about 15 to 30 minutes. The procedure involves a series of small injections under the chin. Patients may experience mild swelling, bruising, or numbness in the treated area, but these side effects are temporary and subside within a few days. Results become visible after several weeks as the body naturally processes the destroyed fat cells.

Treatment Plan
To achieve optimal results, most patients require a series of 2 to 4 treatments, spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart.
